Ambicast ("we", "us", "our") is a cloud-based digital signage platform operated by Ambigroup Services Ltd. Our platform is accessible at https://app.ambicast.tv. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@ambicast.tv.

We collect the following types of information: • Account information: your email address and password (hashed) when you register. • Screen data: pairing codes, screen names, device type, screen resolution, and playback logs associated with your account. • Usage data: which playlists are played, when, and for how long — used for analytics within your dashboard. • Device information: when a screen is paired, we collect technical device identifiers (OS, browser, screen dimensions) to aid compatibility and troubleshooting. • Media files: images and videos you upload are stored securely in Amazon S3.

We use your information to: • Provide and operate the Ambicast service. • Authenticate your account and secure your screens. • Deliver content to your paired screens. • Generate playback reports visible only to you. • Send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset). We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the eu-west-2 (London) region. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Passwords are never stored in plain text. Media files are stored in private S3 buckets accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.

We use the following third-party services to operate Ambicast: • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, database, file storage, authentication. • Google Fonts — for font rendering in the editor (loaded client-side). These providers have their own privacy policies and process data only as necessary to provide their services.

We use browser localStorage and sessionStorage to maintain your session and remember your paired screen state. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Playback logs are retained for 12 months. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days.

Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you. • Request correction of inaccurate data. • Request deletion of your data. • Object to or restrict processing of your data. • Export your data in a portable format. Ambicast is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
